Aberdeen’s dedicated SRI team is based in Edinburgh. It operates alongside the Global equity team, and similarly sources stock ideas from regional desks. However, the distinct requirements of SRI clients mean that our core list is subjected to additional filters.

SRI overlays have become an increasingly common requirement, first in North America and now in Europe. These changes reflect an underlying shift in attitudes with greater accountability demanded of institutions managing public funds. Also, there is a pragmatic recognition that SRI portfolios do not necessarily compromise returns; on the contrary, SRI can be very rewarding.
